Krissy Clark is a narrative audio and print journalist who untangles how public policies intersect with everyday lives. She was the co-creator, host and senior correspondent of Marketplace’s documentary podcast “The Uncertain Hour,” named one of the Best Podcasts of 2023 by Vogue magazine. Clark has reported for “99% Invisible,” Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting, Slate, NPR, and the BBC. Her investigation into welfare spending and work requirements was featured on “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” and sparked policy reform efforts. Clark has been nominated for a Peabody, a James Beard Award for food journalism, and three Loeb Awards. She has won a National Press Foundation Economic Justice Award, a National Headliner Award, and two Gracies. She was a 2010 Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University.
