Deena Kamel has been a business reporter at The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi since 2018, with a focus on aviation and transportation. Her reporting has taken her to Sydney, Seoul, Seattle, Geneva and various Gulf capitals. 

With a background in business journalism in the UAE spanning more than a decade, Deena has covered a wide range of topics from company news to the economy while working for local newspapers and foreign newswires. Previously, she was the Gulf transport correspondent for Bloomberg in Dubai. She has a Master of Journalism degree from the University of British Columbia in Canada. Deena is fluent in Arabic and English.
