Maryam Al-Badr is a junior at Northwestern University in Qatar studying journalism. In 2018, she launched a blog dedicated to reporting on psychology and its latest developments, which sparked her interest in mental health in the Arab region. She plans to go on residency at SciDev in 2020 to gain more insight on how to report science to the general public.
